Josie’s Rice & Garbanzo Beans

Baked Tomatoes and Pasta

Ingredients

  • rice
  • basil
  • garbanzo beans
  • salt
  • pepper
  • bay leaf
  • onions

Directions

  1. Soak garbanzo beans over night
  2. Cook for 1 hour adding in salt and a bay leaf
  3. Cook rice and place in basil
  4. Add rice to the garbanzo beans
  5. Slice onions paper thin
  6. In a pan sauté the onions until very brown
  7. Pour onions and olive oil over the rice and garbanzo beans
  8. Buon appetito!
